Lenore Simon majored in art since high school in New York. She has attended Printmaking Workshops at the New School in New York, Intaglio Workshops at the Art Center Of Northern New Jersey and classes at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
She has received over two dozen awards for excellence in printmaking and eight individual grants from the California Arts Council.
Lenore Simon’s art is represented in over three hundred private and corporate collections throughout the United States and abroad. Simon’s art and explanations of her methods are featured in “Fifty Nine Studio Secrets for the Graphic Artist” published by Northlight Books. Her original print, “Circus Theme”, has been acquired by the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.
